Bona Abrasives have been specially developed for use on wooden floors. Three different abrasive qualities are avaiable in the range whitch  allows the most appropriate abrasive characteristic to be chosen for each application.

Silicone Carbide 8100: This material has the major benefit of staying sharper for longer, making it both efficient and  economical. The heat resistant abrasive combined with a less packed distribution of grit reduces clogging and allows cooler running - perfect for high speed edge sanders.

Aluminium Oxide 8500: Used on Bona abrasive belts, this is an inexpensive yet effective material. A slightly softer material, therefore perfect for fine finishing.

Zirconium Mix 8300: The world’s first anti-static abrasive! Pure Zirconium lasts longer than other abrasives but can create deep scratches. Often the results obtained are approximately one abrasive grade courser than that achieved with standard abrasives. By adding a second material, Bona has created an abrasive mix which is not only longer lasting but produces a smoother finish achieved with fewer sandings.
